All of our Bengals, including our kittens, are on a 100% raw diet. The
benefits of a raw diet include a healthier, shinny coat with little to no
shedding, decreased digestive track issues along with decreased litter box
odor, fresh breath and clean teeth, decreased hydration imbalances and
other health related issues.
Bengals are carnivals which means they do not require carbohydrates or
vegetables to survive. In fact, they thrive on high protein without all the
extra additives.
Our diet consists of 60% chicken breast, thighs, necks, 20-30% bones,
5-10% hearts, and liver. All meat is sent through a high end meat grinder
to ensure proper grinding of bones. We add in specialized vitamins and
supplements and then freeze the food for at least 48 hours before serving.
The general rule is to feed 3-5% of the overall body weight.
There are several companies online that offer pre-made raw diet food to
be delivered to your door, however, they tend to be on the pricey side.
If you’re interested in making your own food at home, a meat grinder
would be a great investment.
You may find a variety of different diet recipes online that you could try. We
just highly suggest you do the research in ensuring your Bengal is
receiving the proper amount of calcium and nutrients needed.
We are in the process of offering our food for purchase from our buyers.
Please inquire about this option with us if interested.
This is a common question we get asked frequently. The short answer is,
yes. If cared for properly and on the right diet, Bengals have little to no
shedding. Although no animal is 100% hypoallergenic, Bengals are
considered to be in the hypoallergenic category and are known to be
tolerated well around those with allergies compared to other house hold cats.
Yes, all of our Bengals are TICA registered which is backed by a 3 generation
pedigree.
All of our kittens are sent home with TICA registration papers, a heath
certificate from our veterinarian, a week of raw food, a blanket with
mother’s scent, first shots, and deworming.
We do not microchip, spay or neuter.
Yes, we usually arrange a meet up day in our home for potential buyers to
come view the kittens. This is planned 1 week after the initial listing/
advertisement to give buyers the opportunity to contact us with inquiries.
Please note that many of our Bengals are reserved with deposits prior to
ever be listed due to word of mouth from previous buyers.
If you’re interested in a kitten it is best to contact us directly for updated
litter information.
Our Bengals have produced litters of Brown, Snow Lynx, Snow Mink, and
Charcoal. We are always looking to expand our coats and hoping to
produce Silver, and Blue in the future.
I have found this to be personal preference to the buyer. Some people
prefer Snows over Browns and vice versa. The same goes for gender.
Females do seem to go quicker, however, the males are sought after for
their size and outgoing personalities.
While not common, Bengals are more prone to Lymphoma, Kidney
Disease, Gastrointestional Disorders, and Retinal Atrophy. We believe that
a lot of these health related issues can be reduced by sticking with a raw
based diet and maintaining routine veterinary visits.
All of our Queens and Studs have been tested and cleared for PK
Deficiency which causes anemia, PRA-b (retinal atrophy) that can cause
blindness, and HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) that can cause heart
failure.
All kittens are vaccinated for Panleukopenia, Feline viral rhinotracheitis,
Calici virus, and given two sets of deworming.
Rabies vaccines are not given at the first health check visit as they are
recommended after the age of 4 months.
At this time we do not offer shipping as we believe this can cause extra
stress and anxiety on the kittens.
We prefer that you arrive in person to pick up your kitten. However, we will
consider meeting halfway within a reasonable distance if located in
Florida. Please inquire with us directly to make arrangements if a meet-up
is necessary. Be advised that additional fees may be imposed for meetup’s.
We suggest a soft sided pet carrier to make the drive home more
comfortable for you and kitten. Also, if you aren’t local to us and have a
long commute, we suggest bringing a small insulated lunch bag/box to
store the food in until you get home.
We accept cash, Apple, Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App. If paying by check,
we require payment being made at least 1 week prior to picking up kitten. No
personal checks will be accepted as deposits.
